teamJesus is the name of the Children's Ministry at Epworth UMC

 

The mission of teamJesus is to teach children to know, love, and share Jesus. 

 

We also share a set of Core Values that help guide our Children's Ministry:

1. teamJesus is safe.  We are committed to providing an atmosphere where children are safe, both physically and emotionally.
2. teamJesus provides age-appropriate activities and programs.  All programs and activities are carefully designed to meet the varying developmental needs and interests of the children from birth to 12 years of age.
3. teamJesus activites are fun and creative.  A variety of opportunities are provided to children including opportunities to be involved in the music program, small group bible instruction, and outreach projects.  Children have fun and can’t wait to come back to more activities.
4. teamJesus believes that all instruction should be biblically basis.  We want our children to know bible versus and have a good understanding of stories within the Old and New Testament.
5. teamJesus believes that positive relationships are key to spiritual growth in children.  Children are the here and now of the church.  We believe that adults have a responsibility to help nurture children in their walk and to support their growth.  We also realize that positive relationships start by being a good role model and showing the love of Christ.
