What is God leading you to do at Epworth : Cast the vision for the future of Epworth UMC, strenghten the ministry of the laity and reach out to other with the love of Jesus Christ.

I was born in High Point, NC.  I was called into ministry when I was a senior in high school.  I'm a graduate of High Point University, Candler School of Theology at Emory University and Asbury Theological Seminary.  Have been married to Susan for 32 years.  We have two sons.  Jason is married to Jullian and they have three children; Andrew, Lilly and Luke.  Our son Robert is a senior at NC State majoring in Business Management. 

I enjoy walking and visiting historic sites, the NC mountains and the beach.

I grew up in Stanly County in Albemarle and Oakboro.  I have an adorable granddaughter, Lilly,  2 sons—Brandon -21, Brian - 27, and daughter Hailey - 11.
